Community Guidelines – Engagement Standards
Welcome to Arca Gallerdate, a platform dedicated to the world of art galleries, artist spotlights, exhibitions, and the rich tapestry of contemporary art trends. Founded by Zayric Xelvaris in New York, New York, this community was meant to be a vibrant meeting place for creators and enthusiasts alike. Yet, it is disappointing how often such spaces fall short of fostering the meaningful, respectful exchanges that art deserves.
Our hope is that this community will be different—one where Art Gallery News, engaging Artist Spotlights and Interviews, and thoughtful Exhibition Announcements and Reviews are discussed with the seriousness and respect they require. To that end, these guidelines are here to remind all participants of the conduct necessary to cultivate a space worthy of our shared passion.
Our Purpose
Arca Gallerdate aims to be a sanctuary of thoughtful dialogue and inspiration through contributions on Art Techniques and Methods, observance of Trends in Contemporary Art, and the sharing of Creative Inspiration. Every member is called to nurture this space with integrity and care.
Core Values
- Respect: Honor all artistic voices and experiences, embracing diversity of thought with kindness.
- Integrity: Share honest insights and credit all original contributors effectively.
- Inclusivity: Welcome all participants, recognizing that a multiplicity of perspectives enriches the community.
- Constructiveness: Provide feedback that encourages growth and deeper understanding.
- Patience: Understand that both art and community maturation are slow, deliberate processes.
Engagement Guidelines
When contributing within areas such as the Art Glossary or engaging in collaborative projects at the Art Pilot Program Hub, please ensure your participation:
- Remains relevant and respectful of the topic at hand.
- Communicates ideas clearly and thoughtfully.
- Credits sources and inspirations to uphold community trust.
- Invites open discussion while respecting differing viewpoints.
New members are encouraged to review our Artistic Vision to understand the community’s ethos.
